The sun set quickly,
Almost if afraid to stay,
May stay long away.
The week day threatens,
Calls from tomorrow with doubts,
Enough for one day.
The 6 o’clock call,
Run for the bus in the dark,
Monday comes quickly.

A wet afternoon,
No walk or shopping for me,
Just biscuits and tea. (yippee!)
It’s good to relax,
And enjoy the day fully,
Work’s always waiting.

Thankful but unsure,
The sun is shining almost warm,
The day’s new and free.
There are things to do,
And people to connect with.
Shopping to be done.
I do feel the need,
But just want to get away.
Somewhere far away.

Stuck at the station,
Waiting for the bus, but when?
So late getting home.

Duck and dodge the spikey bits,

Waking each morning.

It is getting late,
And i nearly forgot it,
To write a few lines.
The weekend’s coming,
Just one more Friday to go,
Eighteen little hours.

I’m just out here exploring,
I find it such fun.

Where would I go then?
