The cold wraps around,
Chilling bones and make them groan,
Just a few more steps.
The babies first steps,
Take time, precious time, so joyful,
Each one’s a moment.
As complex as simple is.
I use them virtually every day, The slow trains, the late trains the delayed trains the fast trains, the trains I sleep on, the special trains and when it rains
The cold wraps around,
Chilling bones and make them groan,
Just a few more steps.
The babies first steps,
Take time, precious time, so joyful,
Each one’s a moment.
Well 20/20,
A year for better vision,
The plan’s all ready.
A hop and a skip,
Get to it,
Come on!
Do it!
Don’t loosen your grip.
On the early train,
Get an early start today,
And ticking things off!
The morning is dark,
The half moon is clear and bright,
In black velvet sky.
I want a real change,
Ease things daily,
Through the year,
This year now ahead.
In one minutes’ time,
The doors close and the train leaves,
Another day starts.
I found an old book,
Turned the pages for a look,
And saw myself there.
The pages brittle,
I turn with care,
Wond’ring if,
I will find you there.
The big day is here,
Whatever it is, don’t fear,
Do your bit, that’s it.There are bigger things,
That we should be doing now,
Fly level and straight. The predawn black sky,
Seems darker, but is waiting,
For the light to come.
Yes it is Friday,
Riding that train going home,
So good – time to write.
It is going well,
And I am still learning to spell,
One book at a time.
Writing a book’s hard,
A lot of grind, and focus,
One page at a time.
The train heading out,
Trundles through burbs but who cares?
It is just that train.
Oops, left my notebook,
On my work desk,
what’s it say?
Depends who reads it!
Chocolate retreat,
Pretzels with nice salty tang
I rustle the bag.
A London scene here,
DLR train, cable car,
And a grey skyline.
So, Borish come clean,
Borish Bonbon under fire,
He’s looking sheepish.
Cancelled train today,
Same one yesterday, same time.
Such commuting joys!
I need some pictures,
To add to these Haiku blogs,
On the lookout now.
Saw the Javelin,
High Speed 1 to St Pancras,
But does it go fast?
So, I let it go!
I’ll race it to London now,
Zooming across Kent.
