Search and discover,
and like to live and love;
we maybe the same.
The tastes of intrigue,
with true meanings in disguise,
in shades of language.
There are sounds outside,
and a noise that feels so wide,
makes us want to hide.

17-05-23 Leader copy Routine
Through grassland and ferns,
with a path that twists and turns,
the routine returns,
We do not copy,
but many use the same body,
with so much folly.
Leaders come and fall,
changing quickly often tall,
shadows on the wall.
16-05-23 Fiery Trials
Tumbling down the hill,
not rolling more just awkward,
and very painful.
Tuesday are like this,
a rush to get to that place,
that some will call good.
The tea mug steaming,
and tempting me to taste it,
it’s hot but tasty.
15-05-23 A mixed bag
I’m charging ahead,
and like the Light Brigade was,
hit from front and sides.
I enjoy writing,
there is a release of stress,
released with each word.
The pages turn quick,
the words a blur and are read,
by unconscious mind.
14-05-23 Tennis Anyone?
Tennis this morning,
serving up a treat as well,
with an easy win.
The pace is faster,
than I would like but I’m keen,
to maintain my pace.
The showers are good,
washing away stress and strain,
soapy down the drain.
13-05-23 The Coffee Mug Test
My coffee mug’s red,
for sure I have heard it said,
that it’s never washed.
Well that is a lie,
it gets a clean now weekly.
and a rinse each day.
They say it improves,
the flavour of the coffee,
but I am not sure.
12-05-23 Transfer Market
Now Friday is here,
still it was enough for me,
this shorter work week.
One thing I’m trying,
to transfer the firs to last,
and the last to first.
And it seems to work,
better than I thought it might,
and that’s very good.
11-05-23 The writing thirst.
I have an itch now,
between my fingers, a pen,
to be writing more.
Mug of tea can wait,
like mug of coffee before,
for the writing thirst.
That great writing thirst,
that seizes in the night time,
when you’re drifting off.
10-05-23 Cuppa Soup
What a Wednesday,
what was it I said when questioned,
was it an answer.
I am running now,
well not now, some time before,
but still breathing hard.
Simple olive roll,
with a cuppa soup for lunch,
is enough for me.
09-05-23 Back to work
Back to work again,
to catch the bus and the train,
and many emails.
Juggling with a ball,
and I mustn’t let it fall;
can I keep it up?
The streets are quiet,
as I walk across London,
and that’s kind of nice.
