My tea’s getting cold,
It’s standing here beside me,
Saying, ‘Drink me hot!’

I have watched some films,
I’m baby watching really,
Asleep or awake.

I’m ready for work,
Draft emails written, not sent,
I’ll send them first thing.

It is here right now,
Undeniable it is,
Sunday all day long.

The sun shines outside,
And fluffy clouds drifting by,
Playing hide and seek.

A tension is here,
An angst for the week ahead,
All things to be done.

No doubt, it is gone!
There’s the space it used to be,
On the calendar.

Going in circles,
Yes, I’m doing it again,
With no end in sight.

My head is spinning,
I don’t know which way is up,
Or down anymore.

I’m threading water,
I’m gasping for some fresh air,
Then I pull the plug.

The water is falling,
Like rain from the sky so fine,
Yet it wets all things.

The summer is here,
And blackberry bushes bloom,
Their small white flowers.

This day came so fast,
And I knew it wouldn’t last,
It came and just went.

The trouble with plans,
Is that they sometimes happen,
And sometimes they don’t.

Work is speeding up,
More things to do, but less time,
That’s to do them well.

It is just a blur,
The day after day routine,
I need a good break.

Work again today,
I don’t go anywhere though,
Just sit here at home.

Photography’s fun,
Something that I do enjoy,
Seeing the results.

Out very early,
Just cleaning up the whole place,
And the BBQ.

Where does the time go,
When your working, having fun,
It is time unseen.
