06/04/21 Dragons

The dragons flew down,
like great green burning reptiles,
soaring through the sky.

The trees were a light,
and buriing like a furnace,
so noone came near.

The trouble had come,
and the riders rode out fast,
to intercept them.

But they were no match,
and one by one they fell down,
spinning to the ground.

Then came the gragons,
fierce like the hot desert sands,
stripping skin from flesh.

They stopped at the church,
as if they had seen something,
and then flew away.

The people just watched,
from hideways like scared rats,
and slowly appeared.
