I’m feeling sleepy,
I had lunch a while ago,
Desert is coming.
There a single page,
Washed up on the sandy shore,
The inked now running.
What was written there?
It appeared like a short note,
With letters in blue.
As complex as simple is.
I’m feeling sleepy,
I had lunch a while ago,
Desert is coming.
There a single page,
Washed up on the sandy shore,
The inked now running.
What was written there?
It appeared like a short note,
With letters in blue.
A tidy up day,
Things to pack away,
Or clean,
So much rubbish too.
I am exhausted,
I cannot move anymore,
I’ve lifted so much.
The road into town,
Is littered with snail-like cars,
Moving so slowly.
The traffic lights change,
From Red to Amber and green,
Then back through again.
Speeding through darkness,
The train rattles on,
Slowing,
The next station stop.
Feel the year closing,
Slowly shutting down each day,
With a hope of rest.
A turbulent year,
In many ways,
Will it end,
Be better,
Next year?
Crumbs fall to the floor,
So silently tumbling down,
It’s just so tasty.
My third cup of tea,
I am doing stuff and things,
Isn’t that enough?
It’s lucky for some,
I like it too,
So, don’t you?
This is the day right.
It started raining,
The rain poured down this morning,
Whilst it was still dark.
Do what you want to,
The desire to write is strong,
All the stories wait.
Haiku book’s coming,
The first of different books,
I’ve got to mix up.
5am today,
The full moon’s light in my room,
I watched it sink low.
The train’s rumbling on,
Through tunnels and country side,
All dark now outside.
A glimmer of light,
Can’t be seen in the distance,
Just the passing lights.
It’s feeling okay,
Time to think and reflect,
Enjoy the days start.
I’m counting the days,
For elections and Christmas,
What will cost the most?
Another work day,
Bus, train and walking both ways,
Nine hours rest between.
I had a small break,
Took the weekend to chill out,
But now, I’m about.
The wind blew all day,
It nearly blew me away,
It tried, I must say.
