Time just slips away,
I live the moment, in the now,
But they never stay.
A frosty morning,
I wrapped up warm,
Days dawning,
I am still yawning.
It a little fun,
It makes me think for a while,
Outside my old box.
As complex as simple is.
Random thoughts of mine
Time just slips away,
I live the moment, in the now,
But they never stay.
A frosty morning,
I wrapped up warm,
Days dawning,
I am still yawning.
It a little fun,
It makes me think for a while,
Outside my old box.
So, how’s it going?
Are New Year blessings flowing?
The days are changing.
What does it look like?
So, what is success to you?
Mine is on paper.
Turn up the volume,
Focus on rhythms and pace,
Tick those key things off.
My catch it up day,
Call it rest and relaxing,
This is my best day.
Failure’s not defeat,
It’s a lesson to improve.
Keep starting over.
One thing you must know,
Do not make the same mistakes.
Learn from them and grow.
More tidying up,
And all the bins overflow,
One more small mincepie.
Getting ready now,
Prepared for twenty-twenty,
A year for vision.
What a day it was,
Things go here,
And things go there,
Up and down the stairs.
I can see the floor,
Of my office once again,
And the door opens!
Another party,
This time at home,
It went well,
And people had fun.
The car stood outside,
A write off so I am told,
The cam rod is broke.
Good luck, O My Hearties!
Wherever you roam, or drive,
And travel safely.
The old page was blank,
Except a faded corner,
Where some words appear.
The wheels on the bus,
Go round and round,
Round and round,
Enough of this now!
On the early train,
Get an early start today,
And ticking things off!
The morning is dark,
The half moon is clear and bright,
In black velvet sky.
I want a real change,
Ease things daily,
Through the year,
This year now ahead.
In one minutes’ time,
The doors close and the train leaves,
Another day starts.
I found an old book,
Turned the pages for a look,
And saw myself there.
The pages brittle,
I turn with care,
Wond’ring if,
I will find you there.
It’s Sunday morning,
All is quiet,
No one stirs,
It’s good to have time.
What does lay ahead,
And what can we do instead,
If we had a choice.
