Things to do Monday,
To get to work and do well,
Then get home and rest.
That sounds so dam sad,
Do we live to work, that’s it?
Work to live’s better.
It’s the worst feeling,
Left behind and overwhelmed,
Find your inner strength!
Saturday 19/01/19 Tired Illusions
I’m feeling so tired,
The moments napping away,
I wake somewhere new.
Music is playing,
Distant sounds not far away,
Echo round my head.
Time sliding away,
Whispers that is will not stay
Seeks another place.
Music doesn’t stop.
Songs and rhythms change places,
Seeking perfect sound.
The tea getting cold,
Waits by the side of the chair,
Indifferent to time.

Went out for a walk,
Feeling pretty cold today,
Glad to be back home.
‘Ad a li’le cake,
Nice ‘ot mug of Rosy Lee.
Makes it feel like ‘ome.
