Another day dawns bright
Spilling mornings golden light.
Right across the land.

She’s licking her wounds,
Greasy Grey down forty-five,
Loses the vote today.

I’m sick of Brexit,
A big miserable mistake,
Such uncertainty.

The time is ticking,
Will it happen, will it not?
It shouldn’t happen!

I can’t think to write,
I am struggling with ideas,
I have to dig deep.

Love guitar music,
And Django Reinhardt’s
“Minor Swing”, my thing.

It’s Valentines day
Best buy a card and flowers,
Maybe dinner too.

A stone lays so still,
Not daring to move or breathe,
You might think it’s dead.

The coffee cup rolls,
Rocking, back and forth, empty,
Wondering what’s next.

This is so perverse,
Golden Goodbyes to some there,
Most not such rubbish.

Just three years or so,
Then they leave happy and rich,
But cut key projects.

Oh, Victoria!
“Brexit leaves Britain naked.”
Well done, I agree.

Wat’s this then Greasy
PM is running down clock
You wasting your time.

The work day begins.
