It’s my dad’s birthday,
I call to see how he is,
And he says he’s well.
We take a short walk,
Along the woodland pathway,
Green and overgrown.
I photograph things,
That catch my eye, but not much.
Still a few nice shots.

Thurs 9th July 20 Mopping Up
It’s the day after,
And the mopping up begins,
With very tired hands.
They call it a beast,
A mammoth meeting done well.
It achieved its goal.
Weds 8th July 20 On Line Meeting
One hundred people,
Joined the meeting yesterday,
And all done on line.
Another day now,
More of the same and many there,
I am leading this.
It really drains me,
I’m empty from my head down,
Time to get some sleep.
Tues 07/07/20
Could I do better,
I hope I can fly, fly high,
Exploring the sky.
Maybe a writer,
An artist or musician,
Something that cries out.
Caught in a picture,
Standing still and I’m smiling,
But it’s black and white.
Mon 06/07/20
So much preparation,
Leaves me in deep stagnation,
But a working plan.
K V fifty five,
A small tomb with nothing there,
Somewhere in Luxor.
Sun 05/07/20 Grace Rising
Redemption shown through,
Sorry was the only word,
And made it alright.
The day was windy,
But the sun still shone through it,
Feeling very warm.
Little steps falter,
She falls on her pampered butt,
And gets up again.
Sat 04/07/20 Fade Away
I simply fell down,
I wasn’t myself just a shadow,
That flickered gently.
The scene was set then
A person laid out un-moving,
Watching some old films.
Friday 03/07/20 Bloated
I struggled all day,
To bring it on home again,
It took all I had.
Fish and chips were good,
But I had it late with some coke,
And that filled me up.
Thurs 02/07/20 The Bends
I’m feeling it now,
The pressure of being so deep,
And the bends come slow.
Frogs can hop and jump,
And of course they can swim too,
I nearly forgot.
Weds 01/07/20
The postman called twice,
I caught them and it’s a girl,
Just dropping the post.
The evenings come slow,
I like it just like that now,
The day get shorter.
