A new day, old stuff,
It’s a laugh, and it’s enough,
For just a single day.
I keep my humour,
I keep it light and work hard,
And it is so hot.
Month: August 2020
Sun 09/08/20 Back Home
Hassles of the day,
Pile and tumble, tripping me,
And lay on the floor.
We travelled back home,
It was good to get away,
I wish we could stay.
Sat 08/09/20
Good to get back home,
And even if that means work,
But it’s so damn hot.
Fit for nothing now
Unless it can come good soon,
Now, I do need that.
Friday 07/08/20
I’m writing a book,
In fact I’m writing a few,
But must finish one.
Sat with my coffee,
Looking for inspiration,
In it’s hot blackness.
Taking photographs,
Of the everyday things,
Seeing how they look.
Thurs 06/08/20 Bacon Sandwiches
Bacon sandwiches,
Are they tasty mortal sins,
Or just something good.
With or without egg,
Either way on fresh bloomer,
A good daily start.
Weds 05/08/20
It’s easy to stop,
Much harder to keep going,
So keep on going.
I’m recovering,
Okay, I am just tired,
But I’m waking up.
One thing I do know,
It is good to keep busy,
With variety.
Tues 04/08/20 Music carries me
Music sustains me,
It carries me so many times,
Through many moments.
Here is a photo,
One misty autumn morning,
Taken from the train.

Mon 03/08/20 Move on Mojo
Celebrate August,
And the long hot summer days,
If only, I say.
I’ve found my Mojo,
And it was fun for a while,
Then it just moved on.
Sun 03/08/20 Films, F1 and shows
Wow, what a finish,
Hamilton wins, what an end,
Front left tyre was gone.
Nice to watch TV,
Formula 1 and a film,
Eating chocolate.
The gathering clouds,
The sun will set them ablaze
In an evening show.
Sun 03/08/20 Rest
The special drink helps,
The mug of black hot coffee.
And a quiet time.
The rest is coming,
Day by day I can feel it,
Bringing a sweet peace.
