Good luck, O My Hearties!
Wherever you roam, or drive,
And travel safely.
The old page was blank,
Except a faded corner,
Where some words appear.
The wheels on the bus,
Go round and round,
Round and round,
Enough of this now!
As complex as simple is.
Good luck, O My Hearties!
Wherever you roam, or drive,
And travel safely.
The old page was blank,
Except a faded corner,
Where some words appear.
The wheels on the bus,
Go round and round,
Round and round,
Enough of this now!
On the early train,
Get an early start today,
And ticking things off!
The morning is dark,
The half moon is clear and bright,
In black velvet sky.
I want a real change,
Ease things daily,
Through the year,
This year now ahead.
In one minutes’ time,
The doors close and the train leaves,
Another day starts.
I found an old book,
Turned the pages for a look,
And saw myself there.
The pages brittle,
I turn with care,
Wond’ring if,
I will find you there.
Speeding through darkness,
The train rattles on,
Slowing,
The next station stop.
Feel the year closing,
Slowly shutting down each day,
With a hope of rest.
A turbulent year,
In many ways,
Will it end,
Be better,
Next year?
It’s Sunday morning,
All is quiet,
No one stirs,
It’s good to have time.
What does lay ahead,
And what can we do instead,
If we had a choice.
Crumbs fall to the floor,
So silently tumbling down,
It’s just so tasty.
My third cup of tea,
I am doing stuff and things,
Isn’t that enough?
It’s lucky for some,
I like it too,
So, don’t you?
This is the day right.
It started raining,
The rain poured down this morning,
Whilst it was still dark.
The big day is here,
Whatever it is, don’t fear,
Do your bit, that’s it.There are bigger things,
That we should be doing now,
Fly level and straight. The predawn black sky,
Seems darker, but is waiting,
For the light to come.
Do what you want to,
The desire to write is strong,
All the stories wait.
Haiku book’s coming,
The first of different books,
I’ve got to mix up.
5am today,
The full moon’s light in my room,
I watched it sink low.
The train’s rumbling on,
Through tunnels and country side,
All dark now outside.
A glimmer of light,
Can’t be seen in the distance,
Just the passing lights.
It’s feeling okay,
Time to think and reflect,
Enjoy the days start.
