On the early train,
Get an early start today,
And ticking things off!

The morning is dark,
The half moon is clear and bright,
In black velvet sky.

I want a real change,
Ease things daily,
Through the year,
This year now ahead.

Down London’s wet streets,
The rain is falling once more.
It is wet outside!

There’s a change ahead,
And things will be different!
Take them as they come!

What’s the city’s mood?
Hopeful, excited or dulled?
Each has their own bag.

Let us do a deal!
Labour and Tories real twits,
Clueless self-serving.

Local elections
Said neither are trusted,
It is time for change.

It is green and old,
Says,”I’m a little teapot”.
“Stuck in a grey world”.

I have decided,
To challenge myself daily,
Make a difference.

Nothing much to say,
May’s defeat and disarray,
Extend the date now?

Article 50
Extend this or risk no plan.
We should vote again.

Hard and soft wet squibs
Brexit range of nonsense plans.
Fanatic failings.

Vote to save their skins
Vote of confidence today,
The day’s wet and grey!

The world’s tittering
These’s so much Civil unrest.
These are chaging times.

I feel like quitting,

Chucking it all in for once,

Where would I go then?

Then a great song plays,

Makes me smile and remember,

Good times and people.
