Haiku Book

Keep calm, keep trying,
most things are hard to start with,
but get easier.

I’ve nothing to say,
so I will write a little,
and that feels better.

The weekend’s gone quick,
much quicker than I would like,
and bed calls again.

Earn less interest,
if you invest with them now,
they proudly told me.

I’m dumping some thoughts,
and carroting ideas,
and stewing on it.

Here’s my morning walk,
and sometimes you have to stop,
and smell the coffee.

Bullies ganging up,
on the smaller kid, ain’t right,
nor is it justice.

The morning went fast,
and I caught it just in time,
a second no more.

I’m writing today,
those old tales of yesterday,
that’s new tomorrow.

The tennis balls caught,
beneath the taunt rackets strings,
there’s no stranger things.
