Haiku Book

You can not stop spring,
so, stand back and enjoy it;
living the moment.

The sky through the tree,
brings the promise of summer,
and the joys of spring.

Getting older sucks,
it is sad how beauty fades,
and wisdom evades.

I had fish and chips,
the best I’ve had for a while,
and that’s made me smile.

I’m a lunatic
and I watch all the phases,
always on repeat.

Is it a ghost town,
that I wonder this morning,
or just one more day.

Airborne, they’re flying,
and they’re coordinated,
and seems so perfect.

They all take to flight,
and splashing light and water,
what a lakeside sight.

As the swan preened,
its head, at times, hung just so,
before ducking down.

Cold with evening breeze,
I saw the sun descending,
down into orange.
