Haiku Book

I’m lost in my thoughts,
and staring blankly around,
as things move along.

And for a moment,
there’s a sense of clarity,
a structure I see.

Trees pass by outside,
as the train’s picking up speed,
and it is a blur.

The sky is changing,
with wind blown cloud pattenings,
and sun lit highlights.

I have a new plan,
a little of this and that,
you know what I mean.

Early morning skies,
and plenty yawning replies,
of the passerbys.

I’ve forgotten more,
than i know today, really,
It’s just how it is.

Things go bump tonight,
and the lights were all turned off,
so, the fun began.

Safe in the throne room,
for some peace and quiet time,
and then some numb thighs.

Let them through now, please,
make way and clear the pathway,
let’s get rid of them.

There are special times,
that abide for a long time,
while the flowers fade.

Caught in a slip stream,
dragging me to a deep place,
whilst I keep digging.

What is right, is right,
and you can try all you might,
to change that, but can’t.

Sitting in my chair,
and reclined nice and easy,
just taking my time.

I’m shooting the breeze,
and allowing it to pass through,
all i am just then.

Tension in the air,
with dark thundrous looks my way,
but i stand my ground.

The place is pact now,
and I gaze about, watching,
how the others move.

Tying my shoe lace,
for the left boot comes undone,
several times a day.

And in frustration,
I photograph the flowers,
and the passing clouds.

Hello, what is your name?
a friendly lady asks me,
as I’m going in.
