Do not fear changes,
rather fear staying the same;
a tree grows with change.

I must start running,
but really running, not jogging,
like at seventeen.

Get one or two friends,
that you can really count on;
just one’s a blessing.

The things you enjoy,
go and enjoy one right now;
there’s no better time.

The rain is falling,
with a steady down pouring,
and pitter patter.

Early afternoon,
and relaxing with some friends,
playing some music.

The book lays open,
and turned to a certain page,
the words plain to see.

How a word’s written,
will tell how that swordsman works,
and what to expect.

I must start running,

and reminds we’re not alone,
along the journey.

A leader’s someone,
that knows the way, goes the way,
and will show the way.

Such a busy day,
bouncing about, back and forth,
between this and that.

Chapter one starts well,
and that descends rapidly,
to a deep dead end.

Poems for the eye,
and song lyrics for the ear;
both touch heart and mind.

The rain gently falls,
and with it comes Autumn leaves,
falling from the trees.

Am I a winner?
Sometimes I like to think so,
and sometimes I am.

I count the sunsets,
and the sun rise every dawn;
they keep time so well.

I woke up early,
or so I thought, then I found,
the clocks had gone back.

This morning was fun,
as I did get something done,
and closed a chapter.

The light is so bright,
and I close my eyes, then squint;
silhouettes approach.

There is much to do,
and if I don’t do something,
I can’t do it well.

I’ve lost track of time,
the thief of time, time itself,
that stole much from me.
