Work again today,
I don’t go anywhere though,
Just sit here at home.

Photography’s fun,
Something that I do enjoy,
Seeing the results.

Out very early,
Just cleaning up the whole place,
And the BBQ.

Where does the time go,
When your working, having fun,
It is time unseen.

BBQ today,
Some family come over,
And eat all the food.

So happy birthday,
Little one I know you did,
And got very tired.

It’s Saturday soon,
For now I keep my head down,
And try not to frown.

This lock down’s madness,
Self confinement, staying in,
Just me locked inside.

Things are piling up,
I can’t do them all, just some,
The rest overwhelm.

Going in circles,
Trying to find the way out,
But I just miss it.

The sun’s shines brightly,
Through the two open windows,
Meant to let air in.

The bird song is great,
To hear in the morning time,
In those early hours.

Things can get better,
You need to start with yourself,
Who then, unless you.

The light’s streaming through,
And new life suddenly grew,
Filling emptiness.

These are my strange days,
With things left unsaid or lost,
To brood in darkness.

The light seldom shines,
In the depths of a deep heart,
Closed to the daylight.

There’s a distant call,
Familiar but unclear,
I heard it before.

Today’s spanning out,
Lets me do what I need to,
If I am careful.

Uneasy feelings,
Cover me like jam on bread,
Adds a little weight.

A great day, no doubt,
For adventure and get out,
But I didn’t go.

I climbed up the stairs,
And must have done, forty times,
Chasing a monkey.

I was dressed in black,
Completely black, head to toe,
Except for my hair.
