These days of catch–up,
Do it now, if you can, right?
Dead-lines are so tight.
What’s a penny worth,
What can it buy?
Nothing now.
But on bulk, who knows!
As complex as simple is.
These days of catch–up,
Do it now, if you can, right?
Dead-lines are so tight.
What’s a penny worth,
What can it buy?
Nothing now.
But on bulk, who knows!
What a day it was,
There’s no time to gather moss,
I keep on rolling.
Politics voting,
Elections are more sure now,
Maybe go skiing.
The train waits to go,
Just watching for that green light,
Ready to go now.
The mobile is charged,
Full of songs and Candy Crush,
So, no need to rush.
The day’s very fine,
Cool and clear,
The trains on time,
Got to work on time.
That wasn’t the plan,
Meant to get a black coffee,
And spend time writing.
“Where have you all gone?”
Said the spider to the flies
“Sorry I miss you all!”
My poor mind is blank,
Not a sausage,
Nor a rhyme,
No rhyme with sausage!
In morning light sat,
With my mug of tea and thoughts,
Hot until they cool.
I hear the floors creak,
Someone walking quietly ’round,
Try to make no sound.
I’m in the swing now,
Haiku poems on the wing,
Sometimes good I sing.
Wooden pieces stand,
Ready for battle it seems,
The pawn moves forward!
“Where have you all gone?”
Said the spider to the flies
“Sorry I miss you all!”
I say, I love them,
Until they love me!
It’s true,
Sometimes longer though.
Coffee cups and phones,
Rucksack and a newpaper,
The things we all need!
I’m looking for change,
New opportunities yes,
Or maybe a pound.
Good day to you Frank!
I hope you are doing well,
And enjoy the rain.
No phone,
I won’t phone,
I can’t phone
I have no phone,
I left it at home!
