Where does the post go?
In a box, and collected,
in a sack and van.
At some post depot,
it’s sorted into places,
and then its sent there.
And when it gets there,
they will sort it into streets,
and assigned a round.
Was I a postman?
yes and no, only summers,
for some extra cash.
Waiting for the post,
is what I do best at now,
with a mug of tea.
