Time’s slipping away,
I wish it would, longer stay,
and think be less rushed.

A hole in the ground,
could go anywhere I know,
look down there and go.

The rain ran away,
through spring it played everyday,
and I did like that.

It was refreshing,
cool and wet and everywhere,
like a good old friend.

The heat has drained me,
and I am not coping well,
I just want to sleep.

The moon’s looking good,
an half moon clear in the sky,
and bright in the night.
