I’m a gardiner,
and flowery words I scribble,
in weedy poems.
I am a poacher,
I take the game and write it,
just like it is shot.
Month: October 2023
28/08/23 Sailing Sea Sick Tales
I’m a traveller,
and I’ve sailed the seven seas,
and never touched land.
I was a sailor,
and such sea sick words spewed out;
waves of torrid tales.
27/08/23 Thirsty Moon Desires
The moon’s returning,
and soon I’ll feel its calling,
and howl to the night.
The glass is filled up,
and in a thirstily sup,
the glass is empty.
26/08/23 Long Road Light Attraction
The road gets longer,
the further along i go,
and counting my steps.
The moth by the light,
attracted by its beauty,
lost in mystery.
25/09/23 Desert Dawn
There is desert sands,
the wind blows its poems there,
for those that will see. Posted
The dawn is breaking,
and there’s a real sense of peace,
in that early light.
24/08/23 Modnight Dreams Travel
Midnight approaches,
silently the hours slip by,
as sleep covers me.
I’m a traveller,
and my words spread far and wide;
my books travel on.
23/08/23 Friends no Better
Reply to me please,
say hello or something else,
let’s chill and be friends.
That’s the way it goes,
so they say and will tell you,
that is how it is.
22/08/23 Trapped and Dissatisfied
Feeling trapped just now,
no where to go or see,
and the same old scene.
The trouble with it,
is its size, weight and colour,
and the way it looks.
21/08/23 Food and Good Eating
Donuts for me please,
soft and sugary, so nice,
with a mug of tea.
Healthy food options,
or just sensible eating,
for me, the latter.
20/08/23 Battles
There’s famous battles,
although there is nothing like,
the one you’re fighting.
Maybe it’s the same,
you have had a hundred times,
best learn that lesson.
