The weather is cold,
even when the sun’s shining,
the wind says stay cool.

March is my birth month,
and I claim it as my own,
like some lucky charm.

The rain comes and goes,
and puddles form and unform,
but the wind’s just cold.

My coffee is black,
more a rich dark brown colour,
always enticing.

Why does it get cold,
when I do not give it time,
and find it’s turned cold.

We often make up,
and then get back together,
my coffee’s fickle.
