So Sunday’s fun day,
but I didn’t get the message,
so it was Sunday.
The mist’s hanging low,
and all the trees play in it,
hide and seek I think.
Three moons on the wall,
one’s brown, one’s green, one’s orange,
and they hang around.
There’s trouble in mind,
when the east wind blows this way,
and rain’s close behind.
Month: March 2022
05/03/22 Shooting
The things on my mind,
that are flying around me,
as they come to land.
And I land each one,
and put it in a hanger,
and then close the door.
It’s raining outside,
and the sky is steely grey.
but it warm at home.
There’s holes in the ground,
and that go down a long way,
aerating the earth.
Okay, one more try,
if I must I’ll get it right,
dead in the middle.
04/03/22 Toy Story
That Friday feeling,
it has got me feeling good,
and expecting good.
People are funny,
and that is so good, I know,
because I’m one too.
Nothing is sticking,
the pages like grease paper,
is great for pizzas.
The words struggle out,
each looking for that purpose,
and not finding one.
Dino was kidnapped,
taken by the little bears,
there in the toy box,
03/03/22 Tic Tac Toe
An occupation,
unwelcome and unwanted;
leave Ukraine alone.
The months move along,
gliding from one to the next;
marching through this one.
I shall just wait here,
until the blue bird goes red,
if only its tail.
I sit here alone,
my coffee for company,
and a warm feeling.
02/03/22 Out of Bounds
The mist rolling in,
and down in the valley,
where just the lights show.
Tensions are rising,
as they stare at each other,
both thinking the same.
The chocolate’s gone,
once he starts he cannot stop,
but it tastes so good.
She found it was strange,
and even foreign to her,
this fame like desire.
01-03-22 Productive March
Pancake day today,
I like them hot with lemon,
and with some honey.
I have seen danger,
it stares back at you and sneers,
so I stand my ground.
There’s lots to do,
so knock off the easy ones,
and work the hard ones.
A productive month,
you will find is March for sure,
better than April.
One day I will fly,
and I’ll soar up to the sun,
and feel the winds’ lift.
