Into London town,
and travelled the Central Line,
and I got a seat.
Twitter is better,
I now get a few more likes,
four or five that’s it.
My music is fun,
all the songs are coming on,
and I’m feeling it.
I’m rolling the die,
the plural for dice they say,
they should know better.
Month: August 2021
10/08/21 Sunshine
There’s something today,
I would have done, but I’m glad,
I didn’t do it.
It was a work thing,
but the surroundings just stank,
like so much bullshit.
The coffee is hot,
it is good, strong and has taste,
and a bitter bite.
I’m feeling better
the sun came out and shouted,
“Can’t you just feel me!”
09/08/21 Thoughts
The grass grows longer,
and soon I’ll have to cut it,
along with the weeds.
There’s a little bird,
in the morning says hello,
that’s so beautiful.
Thoughts like water flow,
down the stream with those pooh sticks,
underneath the bridge.
I want younger days,
when I roamed and travelled much,
it really was fun.
08/08/21 worsening
The days go so fast,
but the months are catching up,
and will be gone soon.
The wind in the trees,
seem to laugh like the jackal’s,
hunting down their prey,
The colours do change,
with every move of the day,
and the changing light.
These are random thoughts,
without the rhyme or reason,
that make them seem sense.
07/08/21
Yes, it rained today,
so heavy and persistent,
that has left puddles.
I drove through a lot,
just to make them all to splash,
re-wetting the path.
I am so tired,
the sleep is creeping up now,
and my eyes soon close.
Now from dreams I wake,
and for a moment wonder,
am I awake now?
06/08/21 Purple
There’s not much in mind,
just a dull like buzz sometimes,
when I am thinking.
A purple flower,
beside the road in London,
on the embankment.
I don’t want to be,
the dust the covers the glow,
the glow of a rose,
Music’s therapy,
the notes that dumb down the stress,
and songs that ease me.
05/08/21 Tapestry
This day disappeared,
it’s lost to history now,
and that’s forever.
Days don’t just vanish,
they exist but we miss them,
as they pass so fast.
Distractions abound,
work, travel, home and T.V,
all steal time away.
It’s just when we stop,
for a moment, not too long,
that we see the day.
And the days go by,
silver threads among the gold,
weaving tapestries.
04/08/21 Mooning
I counting my time,
five minutes here and ten there,
getting thing done now.,
Do you read these things,
I wish I could understand,
what you think of them.
my eye are going,
I asked where they are going,
they said afar off.
The tea got stone cold,
waiting but I didn’t show,
so I made it fresh.
I’ll look for the moon,
it is somewhere out there now,
in the clear black sky.
03/08/21 Lantern Clouds
How did I do it,
work so much on a mobile,
it is harder now.
Maybe I’m lazy,
tired of the tiddlely,
and the tiny screen.
The sun in the sky,
lights the clouds like great lanterns,
that just fade away.
I try to stay here,
in the present, in the now,
So I get more done.
02/08/21 Ducks
Seven little ducks,
swimming in this green water,
feeding on it too.
The was a wash out,
one day but got nothing done,
was it a big waste?
I went to London,
and i took the underground,
getting out and about.
