Friday 11/01/19 Sound Like

What is a ‘Sounds Like’?
Some phrase rude, apt or funny.
Sounding like a name.

There is Bum Hole Bump,
Funny, rude and apt, Donald Trump.
A pain in the ass.

Ask me what i do,
Yes i write Haiku poems,
I also do rhyme.

Its getting late now
Time for bed and some good sleep,
Catch me tomorrow.

A tiring day today,
Been busy with some meetings.
I’ve had enough now!

On the train home now,
With bounty bar and music.
Not quite near perfect.

Heathrow stops for drones,
Loads of passenger just moan,
I understand that.

It’s not good for them,
Made to wait and losing out,
Time wasters paid up.

Brexit racist thugs,
Threaten remainer MPs
Is this really British?

MPs desert Grey,
Greasy can’t get a firm grip,
Support slips away.

PM Greasy Grey,
Defiant with her nonsense,
Makes me wonder why?

The country is tired,
With the lies and promises,
And empty untruths.

If it smells so bad,
Why keep sniffing it so much,
Time to bin it now.

Eighty-one days,
Oppose no deal and Brexit!
Jan fifteenth rubbish.

My straw poll today,
Some have had enough and think,
“We’ll pay anyway!”

Is that good enough?
This is the worst prognosis
Brexit will cost jobs.

There’s no news today,
That’s not for me anyway,
Little by little.

The weekend’s gone quick,
Christmas lights are packed away,
All the shopping’s done.

In this broken world,
We’re obsessed with quick fixes,
Not real solutions.

Bowie – We’ve 5 years,
Before the end of the world.
Maybe that is true!

All that plastic stuff,
Not so convenient now!
So stop using it.

The earth, green and blue,
So beautiful – Let’s keep it.
Do our very best.

Our environment,
So lovely and very precious.
We must preserve it.
