Monday 21/01/19 RiffRaff

We know the problem,
Poor ol’ Bum Hole Bump’s council,
Saddled with riffraff.

Blue Monday today.
Did you stay in bed all day?
Or just get to it!

Things to do Monday,
To get to work and do well,
Then get home and rest.

That sounds so dam sad,
Do we live to work, that’s it?
Work to live’s better.

It’s the worst feeling,
Left behind and overwhelmed,
Find your inner strength!

I’m feeling so tired,
The moments napping away,
I wake somewhere new.

Music is playing,
Distant sounds not far away,
Echo round my head.

Time sliding away,
Whispers that is will not stay
Seeks another place.

Music doesn’t stop.
Songs and rhythms change places,
Seeking perfect sound.

The tea getting cold,
Waits by the side of the chair,
Indifferent to time.

Feeling pretty cold today,
Glad to be back home.

Nice ‘ot mug of Rosy Lee.
Makes it feel like ‘ome.

Not able to think,
So much is swimming around.
No man’s an island!

So time and trouble
It happens to everyone.
Enjoy what you can.

Relax and enjoy
The small time you have today
See what good will come!

I need a good rest,
The time runs away to much.
Things fall by the way.

A Friday morning
The train slugs on reluctant,
Slowly getting there.

I forgot something
Can’t go back and need a plan,
I’ll work around it.

Did it snow today?
I thought it and was told it,
Yes i think it did.

Who cares? You may ask.
I like it but the trains don’t.
Maybe work from home.

There’s talk on the train,
Rebellion from last on.
Move down there’s more space.

The train is moving,
Faster today into town,
It’s cold wet and grey.
