The well is now dry

The empty bucket hanging,

Let it rain, rain, rain!

I have been working too much I feel tired without reserves. It is a metaphor for how I feel. Looking outside there is another.

The heavy grey sky,

Waits impatient overhead,

Who commands its rain?

My bed is calling,

It tells me it’s time to sleep,

Shut eye and sweet dreams.

Good night Haiku friends,

Sleep well and let the rhymes flow,

Through poetic dreams.

 

Crazy days like these

You finish before you start

So it seems to me.

Monday morning blues,

I need to polish my shoes,

And make something shine.

Up and out today,

Things to do and folks to meet,

Time to have some tea.

And another thing,

The tea machine’s not working,

Guess I go without.

 

Strange hats on people

Makes them appear different

Will I wear a hat?

It is good to see the interest thank you. Here is another one.

I’ve walked many miles,

I’ve lived my life on the fringe,

Time now, to excel.
